Start your day traveling Northwest to Jowler Creek for a tasting, and continue on to the beautiful Riverwood Winery, then make your way down to TerraVox Tasting Room which is in the Green Dirt Farm Creamery building (try some local sheep's cheese too!!), journey through historic Weston and stop at Weston Wine Co. on the main drag then venture on over to Pirtle Winery to end your day!
The first stop on your trip will be Missouri's First 'green winery' located about 5 minutes North of Platte City. Riverwood Winery is 45 minutes from Kansas City located in Rushville, MO. Housed in a 1950's era school building, they feature handcrafted wines, gourmet foods, and gift shop. TerraVox tasting room shares a space with the Green Dirt Farm Creamery in Weston, MO. They are dedicated to discovering the best expression of North America's native grapes; they have over 40 varietals! With indoor seating and outdoor patio, there is plenty of room to stay for a cheese and wine pairing from this unique vineyard.
Weston Wine Company is a quaint tasting room in downtown Weston, MO. They feature 7 house wines available year-round as well as seasonal wine offerings. You can kick your wine tasting up a notch by adding gourmet cheese or miniature cupcake tastings perfectly paired with their wine!
