That's right, thanks to our hardy vines, wine as we know it today 'roots' (see what I did there) back to our very own backyard! Lucky for us, and thanks to our Top 12 Kansas Wineries list, we have plenty of opportunities to taste those robust grapes.

Aubrey Vineyards

Located in Downtown Overland Park, KS:

​Aubrey Vineyards Tasting Room offers Napa-Style wines; locally grown on their 200 acres of fertile, loamy soil. Expand your palate, go in for a tasting and leave with experience and a bottle!

​BlueJacket Crossing

Located in Eudora, Kansas:

​This boutique vineyard offers wine from Norton, St. Vincent, Seyval, Chambourcin, Fredonia, Vignoles, and Traminette grapes which cover 8 acres of land. You can even stay in their cozy AirBnb for a quick getaway!

Crooked Post Vineyard & Winery

Located in Ozawkie, KS:

​After 5 years of selling their pesticide free and hand picked grapes to Kansas wineries they opened up our own Winery in 2014. They currently carry Traminette, Seyval Blanc, Noiret, Cayuga White, Valvin Muscat, Concord, Vignole, St. Vincent, Cab Franc and Edelweiss wine.

Glacier's Edge Winery

Located in Wakarusa, KS:

​Glacier's Edge is a truely unique winery that started with 8 grape vines. As time passed, they planted another 120, then finally established the 3000 you see today. When you visit, their "Taste Tube Wine Experiment" is a must!

Holy-Field Winery

Located in Basehor, KS:

​Holy-Field Winery is a family owned business that focuses on producing premium fine wines. They have 10 grape varietals which helps them produce 19 different wines which have received numerous domestic and international awards.

Isinglass Estate

Located in LaCygne, KS:

​Isinglass Estate offers more than a dozen varietals which are estate grown, which make up their 14 different wines (they even have a Zinfindel!). Tastings are available inside or outside on their great outdoor patio(s) accompanied with yard games, horseback riding, and a trolley gastropub!

Jefferson Hill Vineyard

Located in McLouth, KS:

​Jefferson Hill Vineyards and Guest House is a family and veteran owned Kansas farm winey and bed and breakfast. They produce all their wine from estate grown grapes.

Middle Creek Winery

Located in Paola, KS:

​Middle Creek Winery's Tasting room in located at New Lancaster General Store. The winery is now housed in their converted horse barn which produces their fruit, grape, and honey wine. Wine choices range from dry whites to sweet reds; their Cayuga White has won 11 awards!

Nighthawk Vineyard & Winery

Located in Paola, KS:

​NightHawk Winery sits on 4.5 acres of picturesque scenery. With options of tastings, bottles and local culinary pairings (on select Fridays) available, take in the breathtaking vineyard view as you savor your bottle with friends.

Oz Winery

Located in Wamego, KS:

​Located in downtown Wamego, Oz Winery is a boutique winery inspired by L.Frank Baum's "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" that features over 30 different wines. Enjoy a tasting or step it up a notch and inquire about their private pairing.

Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery

Located in Olathe, KS:

​Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery was Johnson County's original farm winery, the owner's strive to preserve the land their family has farmed since before the Civil War. Hang out on the patio and take in this family's hard work by enjoying a bottle by the vineyard.
